Prakriya, IIM Visakhapatnam's Operations Club is a student-led academic club focused on career development in the Operations area. The club strives to foster interest in Operations Research and Supply Chain Management. It serves as a platform for operation management enthusiasts to interact and learn.
The club raises awareness, interest and knowledge about operations management among IIMV students within and beyond the confines of the classroom. It aims at sharing knowledge via guest lectures, peer-to-peer learning sessions, activities, and workshops, thus moving and learning from the industry as we steer through Industry 1.0 to 4.0 and beyond.
Throughout the year, we go beyond the academic curriculum to familiarise the students with the various concepts of 'operations’ through events that present the students with hands-on experiences. We at Prakriya, try to impart as much interaction of the student community with the leaders in this vertical, so they can be industry ready for the future.
