Vinay Ramani is an Applied Microeconomist whose primary areas of research include strategic firm behavior, closed loop supply chains, product cannibalization, and two-sided matching markets. He completed his Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from The University at Buffalo: The State University of New York. Prior to that he did his M.Phil in economics from IGIDR, Mumbai and B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Jadavpur University, Calcutta. Prior to joining IIM Visakhapatnam, Vinay was a faculty member at The University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and at IIM Udaipur.
