Prof. Ankit is assistant professor in area of Economics & Social Science. He has obtained his Ph.D. from IIM Raipur. During his Ph.D., he has also been visiting student at IIM Bangalore and attended courses at Paris School of Economics and University of Surrey.

His research interest is in area of Macroeconomics and Macro-Finance. His dissertation explores the impact of domestic and foreign monetary policy on inflation, interest rate and income inequality. He has covered both empirical as well theoretical research in his dissertation. In empirical side, he works on Bayesian based time series analysis as well as panel data analysis while from theoretical side, he works on Dynamic Stochastic General Equilibrium (DSGE) models.
