Gold Medal & Merit Certificate Presentation Ceremony

IIM V presented Gold Medals and Certificates to the toppers of the last two batches of PGP, PGPEx, and PGCEP on 30 October 2021. Merit certificates for the students in the current batches under the Director's Merit List category were also given out. The prestigious Vani Row Memorial Gold Medal for Securing First Rank among Girls was also distributed to Mansi Gupta (PGP 2018-20) and Divya Gupta (PGP 2019-21) during this ceremony.
Since the 4th & 5th Annual convocation was hosted virtually in July this year, this ceremony was hosted to award the medals and certificates to the winners and toppers in person. Due to COVID-19, the event was a low-key affair, and only the 17 meritorious students who won the medals and awards, and faculty members from IIM V were present during this event.
Congratulating the students, Prof. M. Chandrasekhar, Director, IIM V, expressed his happiness in having these students on campus. In his speech, referring to the lines from the book by Ameeta Chatterjee (Joyful Living: Reflections of a happy soul), and noted, “the most important qualities one needs to possess are the 4T’S - truthfulness, thoughtfulness, togetherness, and tenderness. The amalgamation of these qualities will help any individual sustain in the corporate world.” Sharing her experience of the program and expressing joy on receiving the IIM V Gold Medal for Scholastic Performance in PGPEx (2019-21) Ms. Shilpa Raju Kakarlapudi said, “IIM V has been a life changing experience and she has made a bond that she can cherish for a lifetime.”
