The Media & Public Relations Cell of IIM Visakhapatnam plays a pivotal role in representing the Institute’s vision, achievements, and spirit to the world. Acting as the primary interface between IIMV and external audiences, the Cell is entrusted with building, nurturing, and amplifying the Institute’s presence across digital, print, and social media platforms. Through consistent efforts, IIM Visakhapatnam has established a strong and growing footprint across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube, and a dedicated student blog. The Cell also ensures extensive press coverage for the Institute, reinforcing IIMV’s reputation as a premier destination for management education. Beyond communication, the Cell actively engages with peer institutions to foster participation in prestigious management fests, broadening the academic and cultural horizons of the Institute. Further, the Media & PR Cell proudly organizes TEDxIIMV, a prestigious platform that brings together thought leaders, changemakers, and innovators to inspire and ignite ideas within the community. MPR also acts as an Admissions Committee during onboarding, facilitating smooth communication with incoming students, to fostering engagement within the community and crafting narratives that showcase the dynamic life at IIM Visakhapatnam, the Cell ensures a seamless flow of information and a vibrant portrayal of the Institute’s identity.
