Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam and the Indian Institute of Petroleum Management (IiPM) inaugurated the 5^th Saksham: Leadership Development Program for Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) on 22 November 2021.  Mr. Vippin Jain, Chief General Manager (L&D), IOCL, addressed the participants at the inauguration. Mr. Jain spoke about how challenges spurred organizational changes that were seemingly impossible to achieve before and the importance of retaining the fire in one’s belly while facing uncertain times.

The six-day online customized training program, led by Dr. Amit Chakrabarti and Dr. Bishakha Majumdar, faculty at IIM Visakhapatnam, is attended by Grade E & F officers of IOCL, from Quality Control, Learning & Development, Terminal Management, and Aviation. The program will cover leadership skills such as communication, strategic planning, marketing, operations management, and interpersonal adjustments.
