Prof. Giri has seven years' association with the industrial Development Bank of India, Bombay as Manager Project Finance and Merchant Banking.

He has been an independent Corporate Advisor for the past sixteen years in Investment Banking and Corporate Financial Strategy. He has been a member of the Institute of Directors, the apex body for corporate directorships in India.
