Women Start-up Program, 2018 and 2020: This special and unique initiative was launched to encourage entrepreneurship among women by providing guidance and support in the form of workspace, mentorship and networking opportunities. all the faculty of IIMV are from top-notch institutions in India and abroad IIM Visakhapatnam About The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) belongs to the prestigious IIM family of business schools. It is a new generation IIM, set up by the Government of India in September 2015. The Indian Institutes of Management Act 2017 declares IIMs as Institutions of National Importance. IIMV was mentored by the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, in its initial years to attain standards of global excellence in management, research, and allied areas of knowledge. IIMV is currently located in its temporary, yet state-of-the-art facility in the salubrious Andhra University campus in the ‘City of Destiny’, Visakhapatnam. The Institute has begun the process for building a permanent, full-fledged,word-class campus, about 25 kilometers from the present (temporary/transit) campus.
