After close to three decades of industry experience in Sales, Marketing and Retail business, Sunil Chandran started consulting independently.
He has worked at senior levels largely in the set up phase in a multitude of Organizations. His last assignment as President and whole time Director with Citymax has been in the launch &setting up of “Krispy Kreme” Doughnut Brand in South & West India, Managing the “Gloria Jeans Coffee” chain & a chain of children’s indoor entertainment center’s called “Funcity”. Prior to that he helped New Silk Route in expanding a restaurant chain called “Adigas” post funding by the PE firm as their CEO. This was preceded by stints as COO of the Aditya Birla Supermarket chain “More”, CEO-Retail Operations in Reliance Retail and COO of a Supermarket chain called “FoodWorld”.In the Sales, Distribution& Marketing space, he has helped “Timex” watches set up the distribution Network and Retail operations in India post split with Titan. In “Titan” too, he was among the early Managers who helped set up a balanced sales network that went a long way in establishing the Brand apart from Launching the first “Tanishq” store in India.
His strengths are in Sales & Distribution, Marketing, Strategy, Retail Operations and in setting up new Business.
He delivers a course on “Digital Marketing and E-Commerce” at IIM Shillong and Visakhapatanam.
Apart from managing a consulting business-Trilliant Consultancy, he is a full time Director in Trilliant Digital Pvt Ltd-a Digital Marketing agency and in Trilliant Retail Pvt Ltd operating beauty stores under the banner of “Beautiplus”.
